Traditional manual or semi-mechanical packaging methods can no longer meet the development needs of modern industry. These conventional approaches commonly face issues such as low production efficiency, inadequate measurement accuracy, difficulty in maintaining hygienic conditions, and rising labor costs. Particularly in response to the market trend of high variety and small batch sizes, the shortcomings of traditional equipment—cumbersome product changeovers and poor flexibility—have become more apparent, severely limiting enterprises' market responsiveness and competitiveness.
In this context, the development and application of high-performance granule packaging machines have become an inevitable industry trend. This project aims to develop a fully automatic granule packaging machine that integrates automatic feeding, high-precision weighing, bag-making, filling, sealing, coding, and cutting functions. Efficient and Reliable Professional Solution

This professional granule packaging machine solution utilizes the next-generation FATEK M series PLC as the control core, achieving precise driving of high-performance SC3 servo systems through an EtherCAT bus architecture. The host computer employs a FATEK P5B touchscreen, enabling high-speed data communication with the PLC via Ethernet, providing a real-time and user-friendly human-machine interface for device debugging, parameter modification, and production monitoring.

The core advantage of the system lies in its utilization of the PLC's powerful electronic cam function to achieve high-precision synchronous control. This technology defines the film-pulling axis as the master axis, while horizontal and vertical sealing actions serve as slave axes. Through flexibly adjustable electronic cam curves in the software, the motion relationship of traditional mechanical cam linkages is accurately replicated and optimized, thereby completely eliminating mechanical wear and backlash, and enabling seamless bag length adjustment and precise synchronization of sealing and cutting positions.

Based on this control platform, the equipment can easily adapt to flexible production needs for high-variety, small-batch orders. Operators only need to recall or modify preset recipe parameters on the touchscreen to quickly complete process switches such as bag length, cutting point, and packaging speed, without any mechanical adjustments, significantly reducing changeover time. Simultaneously, the system integrates a high-precision weighing module, where the PLC processes sensor data in real-time via the bus and rapidly adjusts the feeding servo, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of net weight for each packaged product.

The entire system design not only features simplified wiring and strong noise immunity but also realizes complex synchronous motion through software logic. While enhancing packaging speed and precision, it significantly reduces mechanical complexity and long-term maintenance requirements, ultimately delivering an efficient, stable, and highly adaptable granule packaging solution for customers.
