Efficient and Reliable Professional Solution
This solution utilizes the cost-effective FATEK B1(Z) series PLC as the core controller, working in conjunction with frequency inverters, stepper drives, and the FATEK P5 series touch screen to build a complete automated control system for a woodworking sander. The PLC is responsible for the coordinated control of the entire equipment's action sequence, including communication control with the inverters (using the Modbus RTU protocol) to achieve precise adjustment of motor speed. Simultaneously, it controls the stepper drives via pulse output to ensure precise positioning of the transmission mechanism. The system employs the FATEK P5 series touch screen as the human-machine interface (HMI), providing manual/automatic mode switching functionality and supporting both automatic operation and manual debugging states. Operators can flexibly set various process parameters on the touch screen according to actual processing needs, such as sanding speed, feed rate, and processing time. This solution fully considers equipment operational stability and ease of use. Through the synergistic cooperation of the PLC's logic control with the inverters and stepper drives, it achieves highly efficient automation of the wood sanding process. Meanwhile, the intuitive operation interface of the touch screen significantly lowers the barrier to using the equipment, making it easy for on-site personnel to quickly master and adjust processing parameters.
