Project Background The development of the rotary disc packaging machine project stems from the urgent demand for highly efficient automated packaging in industries such as food, pharmaceuticals, and daily chemicals. With rising labor costs and increasingly stringent product quality requirements, traditional manual packaging methods can no longer meet the efficiency and hygiene standards of modern production. The rotary disc packaging machine features a unique rotating workstation design, enabling continuous operations such as feeding, measuring, filling, sealing, and discharging. It is particularly suitable for high-speed packaging of granular, powdered, and tablet-shaped materials. Current market demands have shifted from single-function equipment to flexible and intelligent solutions, requiring advanced features such as quick changeover, parameter memory, and self-diagnostic fault detection, while also complying with industry standards like GMP. The rotary disc packaging machine developed in this project adopts a modular design concept. By integrating servo-driven systems and vision inspection technologies, it achieves breakthroughs in packaging speed, measurement accuracy, and equipment stability. This helps customers address market challenges like multi-variety, small-batch production while enhancing their competitiveness.

The hardware system of the rotary disc packaging machine adopts the FATEK B1 series PLC controller as the core control unit, paired with the FATEK P5070NB touchscreen for human-machine interaction. It drives the actuators through the coordinated operation of servo motors and stepper motors, combined with peripheral I/O circuits to form a complete automated control system. The system uses the FATEK B1 series PLC as the control core, achieving multi-axis precise positioning control via high-speed pulse output. The FATEK P5070NB touchscreen provides parameter setting, operation monitoring, and fault alarm functions, enabling visual operation and data management. The servo motors handle high-precision positioning tasks, while the stepper motors assist in material feeding. The input system includes emergency stop buttons, mode selection switches, photoelectric sensors, and other detection components, while the output system controls solenoid valves, indicator lights, and other actuators. Safety protection features an independent emergency stop circuit design, complying with relevant safety standards, and incorporates a multi-level alarm mechanism. The electrical design strictly adheres to regulatory requirements, with critical signals shielded to ensure stable system operation. By optimizing the FATEK PLC control program and motion control algorithms, the packaging machine achieves high-speed, high-precision automated production.
